LALITPUR: Jhapa XI and Sankata Club registered wins in the Group B matches of the Lalit Memorial U-18 Championship here at the ANFA Complex grounds on Monday.

Roman Bhujel netted a brace and Buddha Bal Tamang added one as Jhapa defeated Chyasal Youth Club 3-1. Sunny Byanjankar scored the consolation goal for Chyasal.

In another match, Sankata Club rallied for a 2-1 victory over Nepal APF Club. The departmental side took lead in the 55th minute through Bhoj Raj Magar before Umesh Sura levelled the scores four minutes later and Abisekh Shrestha grabbed all three points for Sankata with a goal in the injury time of the match.
