LALITPUR: Nepal Judo Association on Sunday announced the 12-member squad for the 12th South Asian Games following the two-day selection tournament. In men’s section, Indra Bahadur Shrestha (below 60kg), Ramesh Magar (66kg), Sanjeev Dangol (below 73kg), Pawan Kumar Shrestha (81kg), Sanjay Maharjan (below 90kg) and Shiva Bahadur Baram (below 100kg) were selected for the regional games, while Sarita Chaudhary (below 48kg), Lila Adhikari (52kg), Manita Shrestha (below 60kg) Phupu Lhamu Khatri (63kg), Ganga Chaudhary (below 70kg) and Poonam Shrestha (78kg) were picked in women’s section. The second-placed players in all the weight categories will be included in the camp as sparring partners.
