KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 06

Arjun Kumar Karki won the Ncell Baahrakhari Corporate Golf Tournament at the Himalayan Golf Course in Pokhara today.

Played under stableford 3/4 handicap format, Karki accumulated 35 points to win the trophy.

Surendra Phuyal claimed the gross section title with 28 points.

Rekha Ghimire lifted women's category trophy with 23 points. Tendi Sherpa was victorious in the senior category.

Likewise, Ramesh Gurung, who scored three birdies, bagged the most birdies award, while Capt Norbu Sherpa and Balram Thapa claimed the longest drive and closest-to-the pin award respectively.

Thapa missed the hole in one by six inches.

A total of 74 players took part in the one day event. Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Prithivi Subba Gurung, Minister for Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, Chief of Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal, Chairman of Baahrakhari Pratik Pradhan and CEO of Ncell Andy Chong among others gave away the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
