KATHMANDU: Karnali Province and Lumbini Province registered victories in the PM Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament here on Tuesday. Karnali defeated Gandaki Province by five wickets for their maiden victory in the tournament. Gandaki were bowled out for 204 runs in 42.3 overs after electing to bat first at the TU Stadium, while Karnali raced to 205-5 with 79 balls to spare. Man-of-the-match Himanshu Shahi scored an unbeaten 68 off 60 balls with the help of seven boundaries for Karnali. At Mulpani grounds, Lumbini registered a 77-run victory over Province-2. Batting first, Lumbini posted 257-9 in their allotted 50 overs before packig Province-2 for 180 runs in 42.4 overs. Man-of-the-match Sandeep Rajali top scored for Lumbini with 107-ball 83 that included 11 boundaries.
