KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Cricket Training Centre (KCTC) 'A' advanced to the semi-finals of the Tip Top U-16 Cricket Tournament here on Friday. In the last league match, KCTC beat New Vision Club by seven wickets. Batting first, New Vision made 118-5 in 20 overs, while KCTC raced to 119-3 in 12.4 overs. Deepak Bohara scored 34 off 29 balls, while Rit Gautam made 33 off 16 balls for KCTC. In another match, Great Himalayan Cricket Academy registered a 16-run victory over Nepal Cricket School. Batting first, GHCA scored 106-9 in 20 overs and packed Nepal Cricket School for 90 runs in 19 overs.
