KATHMANDU: The Surya Nepal Kathmandu Open is teeing off at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Tuesday.

A total of 33 pros and 13 amateurs are taking part in the eighth event under the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2017-18, informed the organisers, Nepal PGA in a release.

The cut will be applied after 36 holes with top 21 pros and six amateurs making it to the final two rounds.

Out of the total cash purse of Rs 530,000, top three pros will receive Rs 90,000, Rs 61,000 and Rs 47,000 respectively.
