Khadka, Diwas share lead on Day-II
KATHMANDU: Tilak Khadka of OCCED Nepal and Sudip Diwas of Buddhist Child Home collected 4.5 points each to share the lead in the first Inter-Children's Home U-14 Chess Tournament here on Tuesday.
Sudeep defeated Bijaya Lama and Tilak edged past Raj Kumar Lama to stand atop the leaderboard after the completion of fifth round.
Surendra Diwas, Bijaya Lama, Susan Bahadur Nepali and Asish Ghimire are next with four points each. Collecting 3.5 points after the completion of fifth round were Raj Kumar Lama of Concern Nepal and Ritesh Shahi of Children Bright Future, Nepal. Santosh Chaudhary, Rawal Shahi, Sanjeep Thing, Rabindra Rai, Sabin Diwas, Sagar Diwas, Prem Shahi, Ravi Magar and Sanam BK have two points apiece.
