KATHMANDU: Phupu Lhamu Khatri won gold medal in the Hungary Open Junior Judo Championship in Budapest on Wednesday. Khatri, who had won gold medal in the 12th South Asian Games in India last month, has been training in Hungary for the last two months under Rio Olympics scholarship. Khatri defeated Tandi Alexa in the 63kg weight category final. Sara Balogh and Cservenak Anna finished joint third in the event. A total of seven participants took part in the weight category.
