KATHMANDU:  Wai Wai Great Himalayan Cricket Academy and Tribhuvan Army Club won their matches of the Khukuri Challenger T20 Cup here at the Mulpani Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

In Group C matches, Great Himalayan defeated Nepal Cricket School by 29 runs, while TAC thrashed Oasis Cricket Academy by 133 runs.

In the day’s first match, Great Himalayan scored 179-4 in their allotted 20 overs after put into bat first. In reply, Nepal Cricket School managed 150-8.

Similarly, opting to bat first, TAC posted a mammoth total of 236-2 and packed Oasis for 103 runs in 18.2 overs.

TAC’s Bhupendra Thapa scored a quick-fire 66-ball 103 not out that included six each fours and sixes.

Similarly, Indra Kamal Manandhar added 40-ball 85 with the help of 12 boundaries and four sixes.
