Kiran Kumar Limbu bags NSJF Best Player of the Year award
KATHMANDU: Goalkeeper Kiran Kumar Limbu won Pulsar Sports Award 2016 Best Player of the Year award, while national volleyball team was named the Team of the Year at the Pulsar Sports Award 2073 held at Nepal Academy Hall in Kathmandu on Monday.
National goalkeeper Limbu is currently plying his trade in Maldives, his mother accepted the award on behalf of Limbu.
Judo player Manita Shrestha Pradhan claimed the youth Player of the Year award.
Likewise, athletics coach Pushpa Raj Ojha was named Best Coach of the Year. People's Choice Award went to Kanchi Maya Koju as she garnered the highest number of votes.
Similarly, Life Time Achievement Award was presented to pro-golfer Ghanshyam Thapa. Badminton player Nalsang Tamang was awarded best female player of the year.
The 13th edition of Pulsar Sports Award was organised by the Nepal Sports Journalist Forum in Kathmandu today.
