KATHMANDU: KMC School and Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya recorded wins in the Expert School Cricket League here at the Nepal APF Club grounds in Halchowk on Wednesday.

KMC beat VS Niketan by three wickets. Opting to bat, VS Niketan were bowled out for 69 in 13.1 overs. Aaryak Bashyal top scored for VS with 10 runs. In reply, KMC raced to the target in 14.2 overs losing seven wickets. Rahul Yadav scored 13 runs for KMC.

In another match, SAM beat Mokshada School by four runs. Batting first, Sainik Awasiya put 174-9 in 25 overs. Aashiq Khadka hit 80-ball 70 with the help of nine boundaries. In reply, Mokshada fell five runs short as they scored 170-9. Ashab Hussain scored 45-ball 49 hitting seven boundaries and a six. Tribhuvan Army Club will play against Himalayan Sherpa Club in the semi-final match on Thursday.
