LALITPUR: Little Angels’ College and Ace Academy won their basketball tournament matches under the LA Cup here on Friday.

In the boys’ section matches, hosts LA defeated The British College 44-42, while Ace outplayed Kathmandu College of Management. In other matches, Softwarica College beat Kusom 52-44, Islington hammered Cosmos 58-9 and Site defeated Nepal College of Management 38-20. Earlier, LA College Principal Mitra Bandhu Paudel and LA School Principal Mukunda Raj Sharma inaugurated the tournament.

A total of 13 players are taking part in the tournament. The football tournament is beginning on Saturday with 16 teams in fray, informed LA coach Rajendra Karki.
