KATHMANDU: The Sports Science and Research Centre under National Sports Council on Sunday opened Pathology Lab with an aim of serving the athletes. The lab will carry out haematological and serological tests apart from routine blood tests, informed Lab Technician Krishna Kumar Singh. Joint-secretary of Youth and Sports Ministry Chuda Mani Poudel and NSC Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista inaugurated the lab. On the opening day, the lab carried out blood tests of 50 players and officials, informed Sanat Bam Malla, Chief of Sports Science and Research Centre.
