Ujwal Shrestha completed a five-wicket haul to help Lalitpur record a four-wicket win over Bhaktapur in the Wai Wai U-19 Region-3 (Kathmandu) Selection Cricket Tournament here today.

Bhaktapur were all out for 79 in 25.3 overs batting first. In reply, Lalitpur chased the total for the loss of six wickets in 21.2 overs. Robin Joshi top scored with 22 off 42 balls while Prabin Joshi and Chandra Maharjan contributed 12 and 11 runs respectively for Bhaktapur. Man of the match Ujwol returned with 4-5 in 2.3 overs. Bibek Shakya took two and Mandip Singh Basnet bagged one wicket.

Lalitpur started poorly losing opener Sushil Joshi (1) in the second over. But Udayan Shakya (24) and Nasim Akhtar’s (14) brought Lalitpur close to victory before Jenis Maskey (10) and Ujwol Shrestha (4) saw them home. Suraj Shakya took two while Eden Bhatt, Abinash Khagi and Prabin Joshi took one wicket each for Bhaktapur.
