SEOUL: South Korea’s Lee Soo-Min surged to a third-round lead after shooting a one-under 71 for 210 in the GS Caltex Maekyung Open in Seoul on Saturday.

One off the lead in second place was his countryman Lee Sang-Hee who came in with a 67 at Namseoul Country Club.

Two shots off the lead and tied for third were five South Koreans including defending champion Moon Kyung-Jun. Moon had started the day in front but bogeyed three times in the first nine and double-bogeyed the last slip back for a 77.

Lee, ranked seventh on last year’s OneAsia Order of Merit, recorded breakthrough victory at the Shenzhen International last month.
