Lifan motorcyclists in Na
Two Chinese Lifan motorcyclists, Sun Xue and Luo Hong Tao finally reached Na on Thursday evening, said the convenor of the expedition from Na expedition venue in Dolakha.
After a full day rest on Wednesday at Beding, they started their expedition early Thursday morning, as per the press release issued by the organisers here on Thursday. According to the release, the motorcyclists will stay two more days at Na and continue the expedition. “It is difficult to follow the schedule due to the weather and altitude,” says the release.
The motorcyclists will continue on their expedition through Tsho Rolpa, Tashiphuk and finally summit the 6,187-meter-high Parchaoma peak of Rowaling himalayan range. They aim to set up a new world record by breaking the previous record of 6,100 meters.
Chinese Lifan Motorcycle Himalayan Expedition-2002 has been organised with an objective of promoting adventure tourism as well as business promotion of Lifan motorcycle.
