KATHMANDU: Little Angels’ School advanced to the semi-finals of the Ganeshman Singh Cup Inter-school Football Tournament here on Friday.

LA defeated Xavier 9-0 at the Laboratory School grounds in Kirtipur. Prajjwal Pun scored a hat-trick, while Mohit Tinkari struck twice and Praful Basnet, Anish Shrestha, Nikon Puraj Magar and Raj Kumar Budhathoki netted one each.

Meanwhile, Siddhartha Vanasthali entered the quarter-finals with a 5-0 victory over Prolific. Sagar Syangtan and Prabinman Sunuwar scored two each, while Rukash Tamang netted one goal. The tournament is organised by Ganeshman Singh Foundation.
