BBC open CHC

LALITPUR: Defence Attaché cum Commander of British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN), Colonel R J J Ellis inaugurated the Community Health Centre established by ‘A’ division club Brigade Boys Club (BBC) here at Man Bhawan today. The two-room health centre, opened as part of the club’s social and community services, would provide a free clinical services to the public inviting volunteer doctors and medical personnel. Lalitpur CDO Sthaneshwor Devkota and Executive Officer of Lalitpur Sub-metropolis Komal Prasad Kafle gave away the certificate of appreciation to the donors for their help in establishing the centre.— HNS

LALITPUR: CAS Trading House and NCC Bank played a 2-2 draw in the opening match of the 2nd Corporate Soccer Cup six-a-side football tournament, which has been organised by Gap Event Management Pvt Ltd, here today. In other matches, Shikhar Insurance beat Nepal Investment Bank 2-1; Himalayan Bank defeated Chaudhary Group 2-0; Bank of Kathmandu thrashed Everest Net 11-2 with Umeed Shrestha netting four goals; and Annapurna Hotel edged past CAS Trading House 2-1. Other matches of the tournament, in which 12 corporate house teams are taking part, will be held on April 23 and April 30. — HNS
