Machhapuchchre Bank joined Surya Nepal, Kantipur Publications, Himalayan Bank, Indian Embassy and Chaudhary Group in the quarter-finals of the Soaltee Crowne Plaza (SCP) Super Sixes cricket tournament.

The remaining two slots will be confirmed on Sunday morning as NIC Bank filed protest against Standard Chartered Bank in Group A and Spice Nepal and Kumari Bank lodged protests against each other in Group C.

The match between Machhapuchchre Bank and Prisma Advertising ended in a tie after both the teams scored 59 runs. In other matches, Nabil Bank beat The Himalayan Times by 27 runs; Spice Nepal beat Kumari Bank by four wickets; Gorkha Brewery beat Shikhar Insurance 12 runs; Machhapuchchre beat Nepal Merchant Bank by four runs; Indian Embassy beat THT by four wickets; Standard Chartered beat NIC Bank by six wickets; Spice Nepal beat Gorkha Brewery by six wickets; Nepal Merchant beat Prisma by six wickets; and Nabil Bank beat Nepal Investment Bank by 46 runs.
