Maharjan clinches KEGG Cup

Kathmandu, July 5:

Laximan Maharjan won the KEGG Tournament here at the Le Meridien Gokarna Forest Golf Resort and Spa on Saturday.

Maharjan accumulated 39 points, two more than first runner up Tashi Tsering. With 36 points, Joseph Zimmerman finished second runner up in the tournament participated in by 30 Gokarna Club golfers.

Subodh Thapa won the most birdies award and Rene Vijay Einhaus clai-med the closest-to-the-pin award. Chairman of the Kathmandu Eager Golfers’ Group Suhrid Ghimire gave away the prizes.
