Kathmandu, February 21:

Laxmi Man Maharjan won the Kathmandu Eager Golfers Group (KEGG) Tournament here at the Gokarna Forest Golf Course today.

Playing with 14 handicap, Maharjan won the tournament with 31 points, two points better than first runner up Greesh Bindra and second runner up Manohar Das Mool. Bindra and Mool were among the four golfers to score 29 but ended up second and third respectively on count back. Mool and Purna Shakya both had the same back nine (14pts) but the former ended up third for his better last three-hole finish. German Ambassador Verena Grafin Von Roedern gave away the prizes.
