Mahendrodaya Secondary School, Bhairavi Secondary School and Satyabati Higher Secondary School received the first, second and consolation prizes respectively in the district level inter-secondary school volleyball tournament organised here by All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU) district committee.

At the function chaired by ANNFSU district president Dhana Bahadur Thapa, ANNFSU central president Rajendra Rai and DDC chairman Khem Prasad Lohani gave away the shield, medals and certificates to the winning teams. Volleyball nets and certificates to all the 18 participating teams were also distributed during the occasion.

Meanwhile, Arjun Sapkota and Vivek Khanal of Nilkantha Higher Secondary School and Dhruba Simkhada of Dhading Boarding School were declared first, second and third respectively in the essay competition while Gita Khanal of Pashupati Lower Secondary School, Govinda Koirala and Radhika Adhikari of Nilkantha Higher Secondary School received first, second and third prizes respectively in the oratory contest on the importance of cleanliness in our daily life.

At the function chaired by chairman of Nilkantha VDC Nanda Prasad Rijal, DDC chairman Khem Prasad Lohani and Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Sharma gave away prizes and certificates to the winners.
