KATHMANDU: National cricket team skipper Gyanendra Malla has been bereaved of his father Ram Krishna Malla, who passed away this morning at the age of 78. Ram Krishna Malla had been suffering from respiratory disease for a long time and he breathed his last on Thursday morning at his residence in Bhimsensthan.

He was cremated at Teku on Thursday.

Ram Krishna Mall is survived by four sons and two daughters. Nepal had won the Bajaj Pulsar Tri-Nation T20I Series at the TU Stadium for the first title in 11 years under the captaincy of Malla on Saturday.
