KATHMANDU: Malpi International, New Summit, Learning Realm International (LRI), host Little Angels (LA) ‘A’, Gyanodaya Bal Batika and Rato Bangala won their respective girls’ section matches here at the first LA Inter-school Basketball Tournament on Sunday. Malpi beat Rara Hill 16-7, New Summit saw off LA ‘C’ 21-10, LRI edged past Araniko 9-8, LA ‘A’ hammered LA ‘E’ 46-10, Gyanodaya dispatched Ideal Model 21-5 and Rato Bangala thrashed LA ‘B’ 28-5. In the boys’ section match, Puspasadan defeated GEMS 42-30, Ideal Model overcame Malpi 35-24, Gyanodaya hammered Rato Bangala 55-18 and LRI crushed LA ‘C’ 51-18.
