KATHMANDU: Malpi Institutes advanced to the semi-finals of the fifth Inter-A-level Basketball Tournament in girls’ section here on Saturday. Keshang Sherpa’s 15 points helped Malpi register a 37-25 win over GEMS. In boys’ section, Malpi thrashed Kasthamandap 71-50, while GEMS edged past Orient 36-23, Saipal registered a narrow margin 35-32 victory over Nami and Budhanilkantha thumped British Model College 40-28.
