Man Utd quash speculation
MANCHESTER: Manchester United went out of its way to quash speculation that Ruud van Nistelrooy and Roy Keane could be on their way out of Old Trafford. Both players appeared with manager Alex Ferguson at a news conference and stated their intention to stay. Newspapers have reported that both players have fallen out with Ferguson and that van Nistelrooy could move to Real Madrid or Barcelona and Keane to Celtic. "I am going nowhere," the Dutch striker said. "But I can imagine that people will read things and think about it. ” Ferguson denied he was angry with Keane for his decision to play again for Ireland after a two-year self-imposed exile. "Without a doubt, I will be here next season and beyond that probably," Keane said. "I have two years left on my contract and I see this as being my last club." — AP
