JHAPA: The third National Men’s Volleyball League is beginning here on Thursday. A total of eight teams will take part in the four-day tournament organised by Nepal Volleyball Association and Bihani Saving and Credit Cooperative Limited. Three departmental teams, Tribuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club and Nepal APF Club will vie for the trophy along with Dhorpatan Volleyball Training Centre, Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Centre, Western, Central and Eastern regional teams. Top three teams will walk get Rs 315,000, Rs 175,000 and Rs 110,000 respectively, while the player of the tournament will receive Rs 25,000 and five best individuals — setter, blocker, server, spiker and coach — get Rs 5,000 each.
