ITF demand probe

KATHMANDU: The Nepal International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) on Tuesday demanded probe over the death of its player Indra Kumari Shrestha at the Bharatpur Medical College Teaching Hospital. The national champion Shrestha died on Sunday while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The Nepal ITF has blamed the death of its player to the negligence of doctors. Issuing a press release, the ITF also demanded severe action against the culprits. Admitted at the hospital for a normal medication on her leg injury, Shrestha lost her consciousness after she was injected, the ITF said. The ITF have also alleged doctors of exerting psychological pressure on Shrestha’s family for not bringing out the matter on public.
