KATHMANDU: School Volleyball Commission of Nepal on Saturday unveiled annual calendar with focus in age group tournaments.

The commission will organise U-18 national volleyball tournament from October 29 to November 4 in Kathmandu, informed SVC President Ram Bahadur KC.

Similarly, the commission has also plans to organise Inter-school U-16 boys and girls tournament in March next year. KC also informed that the commission will form the U-16 and U-18 national teams which will take part in international tournaments.

Meanwhile, the commission felicitated men’s national volleyball team that won the maiden international medal in Maldives four months ago. Nepal had finished third among four nations in the AVM Central Zone Volleyball Tournament held in Male in March and claimed the medal.

Nepal Volleyball Association President Manoranjan Raman Sharma among others handed over Rs 3,000 and appreciation letters to 12 players, two coaches and a team manager.
