NBA Kings' Garcia out 4 months following surgery
NEW YORK: Sacramento Kings' Francisco Garcia underwent successful surgery to fix a fracture in his forearm and a damaged wrist, the National Basketball Association club said.
The 27-year-old Garcia is expected to be sidelined for at least four months and wear a cast for eight weeks.
The former 2005 first-round draft pick injured his forearm in training Friday. In 65 games last season, Garcia averaged a career high 12.7 points and 3.4 rebounds.
