Nepal APF thrash Mid-western

Nepal APF Club thrashed Mid-western Region by 113 runs in the PM Cup National Women’s Cricket Tournament here at the DVM Global Academy in Itahari today.

Opting to bat first, APF scored 153-6 in their allotted 20 overs before packing Mid-western for a paltry 40 runs in 12.1 overs. APF posted a mammoth total after Sita Rana Magar scored 48-ball 53 with the help of eight boundaries and Ritu Kanojiya remained unbeaten on 36 off 38 balls hitting five boundaries. Gita Goshai picked up two wickets for Mid-western.

In reply, Mid-western batters failed to reach double digits against the attack of disciplined APF bowlers. Gita Goshai was Mid-western’s highest scorer with nine runs. APF’s Karuna Bhandari claimed four wickets, while Player-of-the-match Sita Rana Magar took two wickets.
