Nepal continue their losing streak

KATHMANDU: Nepal women's cricket team on Thursday lost to Thailand by eight wickets in their match of the ACC Women's T20 Asia Cup 2016 at Asian Institute of Technology Ground in Bangkok. This is Nepal's fourth consecutive loss in the series.

Winning the toss, Nepali eves elected to bat first. Nepal were restricted to 63 runs after they lost their last wicket in 19.5 overs.

Thailand reached the target with a loss of two wickets with 4 overs to spare.

Highest scorer Jyoti Pandey scored 16 runs off 26 balls while others failed to make any double-digit runs. Nepal had 11 extras.

Nepal's score improved from their last match. However, they still failed to register a win to their account. Nepal remained at the bottom of the standings.

Sirintra Saengsakaorat of Thailand was declared player of the match.
