Nepal convincingly defeat the Maldives in men's cricket
KATHMANDU: Nepal has won against the Maldives by 84 runs in men's cricket match of the ongoing 13th South Asian Games held at Tribhuvan University Stadium in Kirtipur, today.
Nepal had posted a target of 164 runs, chasing which the Maldives managed to score an insufficient total of 79 runs at the loss of six wickets.
Winning the toss, Nepal had decided to bat first and scored 163 runs at the loss of seven wickets.
Karan KC was awarded the man of the match for scoring forty quick runs in just sixteen deliveries. KC and Sushant Bhari of Nepal had remained not-out in the first innings.
