Nepal defeat HK
KATHMANDU: Nepali men’s national volleyball team defeated hosts Hong Kong in 3-2 sets in a friendly match at the Yuen Chau Kok Sports Centre on Sunday.
Nepal, who faced Hong Kong for the first time in 34 years, lost first set 23-25 but bounced back to claim second and third sets 28-26 and 25-21 to take 2-1 lead.
However, Hong Kong levelled the score by winning the fourth set 25-21.
Nepal then claimed the deciding set 17-15 to win the match.
The second match will be played on Monday.
