KATHMANDU: Nepal were drawn in Group B along with China, Myanmar and Chinese Taipei for the second round of Qualifiers of the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup.
Nepal made it to the second and final round of Qualifiers as the Group B winners following their identical 6-0 victories over Palestine and Northern Mariana Islands earlier this month in Palestine.
As per draw held at the Asian Football Confederation Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, four other group winners - Australia, Vietnam, Iran and Lebanon - were drawn in Group A of the Qualifiers slated for June 3-11. The AFC will announce the hosts of the Qualifiers in due course. Top two sides from each group will join the three highest-seeded teams from the AFC U-19 Women's Championship held in Thailand in 2019 - Japan, DPR Korea and Korea Republic - along with hosts Uzbekistan in the Finals, scheduled for March 3-16.
