Nepal earn another bronze medal in SAG
GUWAHATI: Nepal bagged another bronze medal in the ongoing 12th South Asian Games (SAG) in India on Saturday.
Roja KC won a bronze medal in the triathlon today adding another bronze to the medal list.
KC completed the triathlon including 750 meters swimming, 20 kilometres cycling and five kilometres running in 1 hour 16 minutes.
Another Nepali competitor Yam Kumari Ghale settled for fifth position in the game, achieving the target in one hour and 20.29 seconds.
In the match, Pallabi Retiwal achieved the target in 1 hour and 11.57 seconds and bagged a gold medal, while Puja Chaurasiya completed the competition in 1 hour and 12.36 seconds and earned a silver medal.
So far, Nepal had bagged one gold, 12 silver and 21 bronze medals in different categories of sports in the SAG.
