Nepal finish runners-up
KATHMANDU: Nepali team finished runners-up in the Advocate Golam Mostafa Memorial South Asian Club Table Tennis Championship in Chittagong, Bangladesh on Monday.
Nepal faced a 3-0 defeat against India in their last round robin match and came second.
In the day's first match, Nepal defeated Bhutan 3-0.
In previous encounters, Nepal had defeated Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives in the six-team competition.
Shyantu Shrestha, Binesh Khaniya, Pradeep Rokka and Purushottam Bajracharya were in the Nepali team.
