KATHMANDU: Nepal women’s national volleyball team is all set to play friendly matches against India in Kathmandu this month. The two teams will play at the National Sports Council covered hall on July 28 and 29, informed the Nepal Volleyball Association at a press meet on Wednesday. A 17-member Nepali team has been preparing for the friendly matches since June 18 at the Nepali Army Sports Complex in Lalitpur, NVA said. Meanwhile, Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Academy President Ranjan Khadka handed over a cheque of Rs 150,000 to NVA President Manoranjan Raman Sharma for team preparation and accommodation. Likewise, former NVA Member Binod Subedi and NASA International College President Prakash Thapa provided the NVA with Rs 200,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively for the development of the sport.
