Nepal suffer in Kedah
KATHMANDU: Nepal made second round exit from the BWF World Under-19 Badminton Championship on Thursday in Kedah, Malyasia. In the men’s singles, Ratnajit Tamang suffered a 16-21, 14-21 loss at the hands of Ki Li of China. Tamang had defeated Josheph Jonathan of Canada in the first round. Bibek Shrestha was outplayed by Dick Long Chang 13-21, 14-21 while Bhugol Gurung lost to Sun Li Geralddons of Singapore 15-21, 12-21. In the men’s doubles, Ratnajit and Shrestha’s pair lost to Christopher Coles and Matthew Nottingham from England 12-21, 21-11.
