KATHMANDU: Nepal women's national team will face Vietnam in the Asian Qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The two sides will face each other in two Group C matches at the Dasharath Stadium on April 5 and April 8. The pool has just two teams after Afghanistan pulled out of the group, informed the All Nepal Football Association.
The Asian Football Confederation has divided the participating 26 teams into seven groups and the winners of all pools will advance to the second round of qualifying. The seven teams will join Japan, Australia, China, South Korea and North Korea in the second round.
Nepal head coach Ananta Thapa has called 35 players in the preliminary squad.
