The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a historic three-match T20 International (T20I) series against the West Indies Men's National Cricket Team, scheduled for September 2025.
In a statement issued today, CAN confirmed that the series will be held at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates-a neutral venue-on September 27, 28, and 30.
"This landmark series marks a pivotal moment in Nepal's cricketing journey, as the national team will face ICC T20 World Cup champions West Indies for the first time in a bilateral T20I series," the statement read.
CAN extended its sincere gratitude to Cricket West Indies (CWI) for its commitment to fostering cricket development in emerging nations. It lauded CWI's efforts to promote the global growth of the sport and to provide vital international exposure to Nepali cricketers ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) also acknowledged the support of the Emirates Cricket Board for facilitating the organization of this milestone series. All three matches will be played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
