KATHMANDU: Nepali players registered wins in team events at the 22nd Asian Table Tennis Tournament in Pataya, Thailand on Monday. According to All Nepal Tennis Association President Chaturananda Rajbaidya, the Nepali men’s team defeated Turkmenistan 3-0 with top seeded Purushottam Bajracharya, Deep Saun and Shiva Sundar Gothe registering easy wins over their opponents. In women’s team event, Swechha Nembang registered double victories, while Rabina Maharjan won one and Selisha Khadgi lost her match as Nepal registered a 3-1 victory over Bangladesh.
