KATHMANDU:  Nepal accumulated a total of 47 points while the visiting Indian team, Lions Kamarupa Academy of Assam, earned 17 points in the Friendly Chess Tournament organised by Nepal Chess Association. On the final day of the tournament on Friday, the Assam team earned 5.5 points to that of Nepal’s 2.5 points. Mohit Jain, Prabhav Kumar Agrawal, Subham Jain, Siddhanta Khemka and Abhinav Patwari of Assam registered victories, while only Bijay Dangol and Prashanta Thapa of Nepal won their matches. The President of Nepal Chess Association Rajesh Hari Joshi gave away the certificates to the participants.
