KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 20

Nepal secured a 2-0 series win against the USA after a thrilling super over victory in the second T20 match at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas. Both teams finished tied at 170 runs after 20 overs, sending the match into a super over.

Sompal Kami helped Nepal restrict the USA to just 2 runs in the super over, taking 2 wickets. Earlier, Kami had defended 7 runs in the final over of the regular innings.

Captain Rohit Paudel scored 3 runs in the super over to seal the win.

Kushal Bhurtel's unbeaten 92 off 54 balls anchored Nepal's 170/6.

For the USA, Aaron Jones top-scored with 62 but fell just short in the chase. Karan KC took 3 wickets for Nepal.

The third and final match of the series will be played on October 21.
