Nepali men’s team wins sixth round match of 43rd Chess Olympiad

KATHMANDU: A Nepali men’s team has won the sixth round match of the 43rd Chess Olympiad taking place in Georgia.

Nepal won the sixth-round match by defeating Sri Lanka 2.5-1.5 score on Monday night. With this sixth-round match, Nepal has now made total 8 scores. Rajendra Raj Bhandari and Nepal Champion Madan Kayastha got victory in the match against Sri Lanka.

Similarly, Nepal and Palestine have tied 2-2 and shared points in sixth-round match towards women. Monalisa Khambu and Sujana Lohani won in the sixth round match.
