KATHMANDU: Nepali taekwondokas Kajal Shrestha and Ashmita Khadka have bagged gold medals in the Chief Minister International Taekwondo Championship in Malaysia on Sunday.

In the competition held at the Kuching Division in Sarawak of Malaysia, Shrestha defeated Ratu Natasha of Indonesia 14-12 under the 46 kilo category to win the gold medal, said National Sports Council.

Likewise, under the 49 kilo weight category, Khadka defeated Kong Wing Yon of Hong Kong 13-1 to win the gold medal.
