KATHMANDU: Nepal played a 1-1 draw against Kuwait in the second Group E match of the AFC U-19 Qualifiers at the Samen Al Aemeh Stadium in Masshad, Tehran on Sunday.

Skipper Bimal Gharti Magar scored for Nepal, while Khaled MAH Alenezi netted the equaliser for Kuwait. Magar provided lead to Nepal in the 61st minute before Alenezi levelled the scores 10 minutes later.

Nepal put up an impressive show in their second match after a humiliating 10-0 defeat at the hands of hosts Iran in the opening match of qualifiers. Kuwait had opened the campaign with a 2-1 victory over Jordan on Friday.
