KATHMANDU, MAY 17
Nepal's Saroj Table Tennis 4 All Academy has been selected as one of the recipients of the grant from the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Foundation under its Table Tennis United Donation Campaign for 2021.
The Nepali academy, run by the ITTF Level-II coach and international umpire Naresh Rawal, was selected by the Grant Panel Selection from among the 130 applicants. The ITTF Foundation, ITTF, TTU Campaign and World Table Tennis will provide the academy with financial and materialistic support in its mission of right to play for every child, informed Rawal.
"Every child must get a chance to explore and show the talent in every aspect of life under proper playing conditions and a proper guidance of certified coach," said Rawal, who has planned to equip the academy with 8-10 tables and provide free training to aspiring children. "Our mission will continue whatever the challenges come in and we are grateful to the ITTF foundation and Table Tennis United for appreciating and supporting my work."
