Nepal clinched its first win in the ongoing Four-Nation Women's T20 Cricket Tournament in Uganda, securing a one-wicket victory over the host nation in its second match.
Earlier, Nepal had suffered a six-wicket defeat against Namibia.
Batting first, Uganda set a target of 76 runs, finishing at 76/7 in 20 overs. Nepal successfully chased the total, scoring 77/9 in 19.5 overs.
Sana Prabin was Nepal's top scorer with 17 runs, while Puja Mahato and Rubina Chhetri contributed 16 and 10 runs, respectively.
In the bowling department, Puja Mahato starred with the ball, claiming three wickets, while Captain Indu Verma took two wickets for Nepal.
This defeat marks Uganda's first loss in the tournament, after an earlier victory over Hong Kong.
The Four-Nation Tournament features Nepal, Namibia, Hong Kong, and host Uganda, with each team playing two matches against every opponent.
