New Zealand elect to bat against India
COLOMBO: New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori elected to bat after winning the toss against India in a tri-series match here on Friday.
New Zealand are playing their second and last league match, having already lost to Sri Lanka by 97 runs on Tuesday, while India are playing their first game.
Each side will play two league matches before the top two qualify for the final on September 14.
